We finally managed, managed to leave home. At first it felt like everything was going against us, we have had multiple things to stop us, and when we finally thought we were going to leave we had to go back home. That didn’t last long though because we fixed it and have finally moved on from Maine.

I'm currently in South Carolina while I’m writing this but that might change. The first place we stopped was Connecticut, not under the best circumstances considering we were at a walmart parking lot but we were just beginning and we had and have a long road in front of us. We had to use pre-bottled water and no shower for 3 days, which wasn't much of a problem for me but I can't speak for them. The next place we stopped was a Cabelas which is a local camping store in Delaware. I could feel it getting warmer which got me excited as we weren't even close to Florida yet.

After we did 2 quick one night stays we finally settled at a campground in North Carolina, it was hoodie weather there but I could get away without one when it was warm enough. It was quiet since it's not particularly summer yet. And the pools were closed for the weather but overall it was a pretty nice campground. I could take the dogs for long walks without getting bored. Sadly we only got to stay for 3 nights because it was going to SNOW. We thought we got out of that weather but apparently not, it felt like it was following us everywhere.

Right now we are heading south to escape the cold snow and it seems to be working so far but you never know. The dogs can be pretty annoying in the car but we give Emmie some benadryl sense she's the most noisy.

I guess it is hard being away from home but it's nice, I mean I haven't really ever explored past New York so it's exciting seeing the differences between people and the land. I am really looking forward to going to Florida and the warmer areas where I can swim before summer.

I guess this is it for this update but I will post something every week along with my schoolwork so make sure to check back where you will hear from me again.
