I've been everywhere man...

If I could make this blog play background music, it would be Johnny Cash's "I've been Everywhere"... because that's what it feels like right now.

We've been to Vegas, we've been to the Morongo Indian Reservation, we've been to Jerome CA, San Diego, Acton CA (we were chased out by a wildfire), we've been to Palmdale CA, Menifee CA, and Santa Barbara CA.

We went back to Vegas (car maintenance), and now we're headed on a grand driving tour of Utah which is bringing us out of Nevada, back in and out of Arizona, into, over, and through Utah, in and out of Colorado, back into Utah, and finally into Wyoming.

We plan to see mountains, canyons, coral sand dunes, hoodoos, reefs, arches, and dinosaurs. Sunrises and sunsets.. the heat of the desert days and the cool desert nights. We don't expect to see rain, we haven't since Arkansas... but stranger things have happened!

We've got a rough route mapped, but no timing planned on the latest adventure. One day at a time...

Callie is registered for public school in the fall, whatever that will look like. I'm halfway through another semester at school, ONE more to go! We're looking at how to best get home without rushing or missing the start of school, maximize experiences without getting exposed to or contracting COVID.

So that's the current update... I'll leave you with some photos...

As a preface to this piece, I would like to let you know two things. 1. I wrote this for my Sociology class today. I thought it was okay, and since I haven't had time to keep you all posted on our tra
