Did we mention it's tight here?

Just a few quick words about our ongoing entertainment...
The sites here are so tight, arriving and leaving takes a village. We noticed the welcoming crew when we arrived, shouting out suggestions to Mike as he wedged us in. But we didn't get the Royal Treatment. The longer your rig, the more volunteers you get.
Just now, a 42 foot 5th wheel was trying to leave. Mike was asked to move our truck to help make room, which he gladly did (what's the alternative? They smash into us?). No fewer than 5 men crowded around to help in the extraction.
They backed him out, almost touching the rear end of our rig. (Mike was helping from inside, picture below, lol.) Once the 42 foot beast was as far back as possible (remember, almost touching us from across the street?), the team of volunteers dropped the stabilizer, and unhooked from the tow vehicle. The owner then had to pull the truck back through their site, around the loop, and then back himself up to the rig in a straight direction facing out. Then the motley crew of 5 o'clock somewhere fellas all hooked the trailer back up, and the retired couple finally took off, onto their next adventure.
All in all, a 40 minute procedure.
Gives a new meaning to 5 point turn!
Also a lesson in not buying as big as you can in a trailer. Just get what you need. Not every park is as friendly and willing to help you move!
