Bugging out?

While Valerie has posted recently that we do NOT intend to change our travel plans, which is true, we are at the same time prepared to remove ourselves from society and be completely self sufficient for at least a month. I'm confident we could stretch that to 2 months if need be with aggressive conservation of resources.
What does that mean?
Electricity: We have solar and a super efficient lithium battery when it's cloudy. We can run everything off of this except the AC but we have a generator for that and 30 gallons of fuel, enough to last months, accessible.
Water: We have a 67 gallon water tank as well as several gallon jugs as a backup. We can get by on 2 gallons a day if need be. There are also opportunities to collect potable water from nearby rivers and streams.
Heat/Hot water: this is covered by the propane tanks and will last a while. We shouldn't need much heat.
Refrigeration: our fridge can run off of electricity or propane which we have abundant supplies of.
Food/Cooking: We are stocked with enough food where we could get by for 2 months. All cooking is done by propane. We also have a microwave the generator can run as a backup.
Toilet: our tank can last for several weeks before filling up. After that we can dig a pit toilet if need be.
Medical: We have a first aid kit, a multitude of medications, and several different braces just in case.
Personal protection: ample.
Internet: unlimited mobile hotspots with multiple carriers should do it for communication with loved ones. Not a necessity though. We also have 3 phones on 2 carriers should one or more fail.
TV/News/Weather: hotspots do an excellent job. Basic instincts work as well.
In summation we are not reliant on anything external. We are mobile. We are pretty much a self contained unit.
With all of this said I do not anticipate having to use our resources for longer than we normally would without being able to replenish. The point is we can go a long time if we have to with minimal disruptions. I thought about all of this months ago.
If shit does hit the fan, which I think is unlikely, we are prepared. Nobody should be concerned. Valerie and I have it covered.
Cheers!
Good planning ❤️
Glad to hear! I was thinking about you guys today and knew you would be just fine before I even read this 🙂
