Barking spiders

Ok so here comes a very brief and not well thought out post from me involving my trials and tribulations from last night at 330am. "Picture it! Sicily, 1942!" I couldn't sleep which was normal. I went outside to smoke which is also normal. What WASN'T normal was the feedback "nature" hurled my way. At first there was a sound. A hiss maybe? Or maybe I'm nuts? Then there was another sound. DEFINITELY a hiss. I'm alarmed at this point. Snakes terrify me and I've heard about hissing spiders. I'm officially freaked out. The third, and final, hiss sent me screaming inside like a 12 year old girl. Once inside I started to shake off my pants in fear of spiders. I then realized the spiders if there were any had already called our house home. After reluctantly retreating to our bed I knew I would spend the night listening to old law and order episodes. No way in hell I could sleep KNOWING a spider, possibly a hissing spider, followed me in. So I hope everyone slept better last night. Hsssssssssss.....
